Yuno Energy has confirmed another reduction in their electricity prices for incoming customers. Previously slashing their prices on the 25th of March, they are now the newest provider in the residential sector. The new unit price comes in at 23.69 cents per kWh, including VAT, a significant decrease of 6.14% from the previous 25.24 cents per kWh.
Yuno Energy’s revised rates are offered to customers who register their service from this day forward. The company sets this rate for a full-year cycle, ensuring it remains unaffected by fluctuations in wholesale energy costs during this duration.
Currently, Yuno has reduced its fixed tariffs for newly registered customers five times this year, as wholesale prices continue to decrease. The company assures that the average annual expenditure for a typical customer will now be estimated at €1,260, a decline from €1,325. It is also around €567 more affordable than the standard rate provided by other suppliers.
The company’s chief executive, Cathal Fay, stated, “We are dedicated to making sure that our consumers can take advantage of the competitive prices we can negotiate for electricity on the wholesale markets. While these markets remain unpredictable, our stable rate scheme will safeguard customers from price variations for over a year, offering them a sense of security.”
He went on to add, “If users haven’t switched in a year or more, they stand to save a minimum of €496 simply by becoming Yuno Energy consumers.”
