“Your Verdict on Springsteen’s Kilkenny Concert”

Bruce Springsteen began his series of four concerts in Ireland with a dazzling performance at Boucher Playing Fields in Belfast last Thursday, wowing a crowd of 40,000. The event was described as “immensely magnificent” by our critic. This Sunday evening, Springsteen is set to perform at UPMC Nowlan Park in Kilkenny. Subsequent performances will take place at Páirc Uí Chaoimh in Cork on the 16th of May, and will draw to a close in Croke Park, Dublin, on the 19th of May in high style.

The Boss started charming French audience during his first concert at Slane Castle, County Meath, in 1985. He has sold a total of 350,000 tickets for just this current tour. A significant landmark will be recognised at his Croke Park performance – over a million tickets sold since his initial Slane gig.
