WSBK Silverstone: Crutchlow Fastest in Warm-Up Practice

Cal Crutchlow was once again the fastest rider during this morning’s warm-up practice at Silverstone.
The pole man set down a best lap of 2′04″969 that was again unreachable by the rest of the field.
Jonathan Rea took second, but he was a distant 0,662 seconds from the Sterilgarda Yamaha rider.

Leon Camier took third and was the last rider within one second from Crutchlow’s best time and he has followed by Carlos Checa, Troy Corser, Shane Byrne and James Toseland.
Leon Haslam was eighth while his team mate Sylvain Guintoli binned his Suzuki during the session.
Points leader Max Biaggi was only thirteenth suffering from set-up problems, while Jakub Smrz on the privateer Aprilia once again finished ahead of the factory rider in eleventh.
Ducati Supersonic’s Luca Scassa will be sitting out both races after hurting himself in yesterday’s second free practice.
The Italian picked up bruised and contusions to his right elbow and shoulder and also hurt his right foot after breaking his left one during the Brno round.
