The expected rain and cold hit the Miller Motorsports Park track right on schedule and qualifying practice 2 was a total washout, with the riders venturing out for a lap or two and then wisely electing to return to their garages and stare at the dark skies, hoping that this afternoon’s all important Superpole session will see a slight respite in weather conditions.
