WSBK Misano Testing: Max Biaggi Fastest on Day 1

Ducati finished their testing on Monday at Misano World Circuit and yesterday Aprilia, Suzuki, Yamaha and BMW Superbike teams were all present for the first of a two day testing session, that saw Max Biaggi set his fastest lap in the morning session before rain showers halted testing.
Biaggi’s lap time would remain the best of the day (but it was 8 tenths slower than Troy Bayliss’ time set on Monday) even though the Italian was the only rider who decided not to ride in the afternoon on the drying track.

Tomorrow the Aprilia Alitalia team will be testing new upgraded software.
Alstare Suzuki has been testing a revised spec engine and new forks, while BMW’s factory test team has brought to Misano two evo bikes based on Troy Corser’s feedback from the Mugello test, that the Australian will trying out tomorrow.
Ten Kate Honda have elected to do their testing at Assen.
