WSBK: Broc Parkes set to return for Assen (w/video)

Echo CRS team’s regular rider Broc Parkes is set to return to racing after missing the first three rounds of the World Superbike Championship due to a long convalescence after breaking his right tibia in a pre-season motocross training accident.
During the Australian round he was replaced by Josh Brookes and in Portimao and Valencia by Sheridan Morais and Parkes showed up at the Valencia round and you can hear how he injured himself and his long road to recovery from the video above.

“I am very happy that Broc visited us in Valencia.
” said team manager Sandro Di Stefano.
“I was delighted to see him in good condition.
I could see that his desire to race is still the same, and now I’m eager to see him on-track at Assen.
I am convinced that, as soon as his physical fitness is back to 100 per cent he can be a contender.
I wish him from my heart a strong comeback, so that he can bring good results to the whole team.
Parkes has been on Echo CRS team’s Honda CBR 1000RR only during the January tests at Portimao before being injured.
