Carlos Checa was the fastest rider during both the morning and afternoon WSBK unofficial test sessions at the Motorland Aragon circuit on day 1.

3 with his Ducati, five tenths of second faster than the morning run, and a massive 1 second faster than second place Michel Fabrizio on the Alstare Suzuki.
Checa has decided skip tomorrow’s testing and head to Estoril a day earlier.
Max Biaggi was on track again for Aprilia and finished the first day in third and just one tenth of second from Fabrizio, he was followed by Noriyuki Haga on the privateer Aprilia.
Leon Camier finally returned to track after his scaphoid surgery took fifth with the same time as Haga, closely followed by Tom Sykes, Troy Corser and Katsuaki Fuijiwara on the new Ninja.
Lorenzo Baroni, who will riding for Althea Ducati in Superstock next season also tested the team’s Superbike and was ninth, followed by Leon Haslam on his second outing with the BMW.
Also present were Aprilia’s test rider Alex Hofmann and Stuart Easton on the Kawasaki and preparing for 2011 British Superbike season and the upcoming Macau Grand Prix.
The Superbike test is on a different track configuration than what we saw during MotoGP.
The track layout is the FIA variation for Formula 1 testing and 300 meters longer that the FIM layout that MotoGP used last month.
