A 43-year-old Dublin-based woman named Ruth Lawrence, originally hailing from Clontarf, faces a trial delay on her double murder charges till the end of October. The victims, Anthony Keegan aged 33, and Eoin O’Connor aged 32, were discovered sheathed in plastic at Inchicup Island located on Lough Sheelin, a lake positioned along the boundary of Meath and Cavan, on 26th May 2014. The Central Criminal Court initially set the trial for 7th October but Ms Justice Caroline Biggs has recently postponed it till the 29th of October. The proceedings of this case are expected to take approximately three weeks.
