Subsequent to your lunchtime indulgence, remain situated inside the building to attend a headline act at the National Opera House, Wexford, set for Monday 28th October at 5 pm. ‘Le convenienze ed inconvenienze teatrali’, a masterpiece composed by Gaetano Donizetti, first graced the public in 1827 and is one of the spotlight operas featured in this year’s festival. This two-part theatrical satire hilariously highlights the off-stage aspects of working in a theatre and the process of rehearsal – illustrating the chaos that ensues when actor’s personalities hinder the execution of a successful performance. 1. This competition is open to all residents of Ireland aged 18 and over, excluding the promoter’s employees or anyone professionally associated with the competition, and their immediate families.
2. A valid entry requires a correct answer filled in the form provided, along with the entrant’s full name, email address and contact number.
3. Entries from agents, third parties, organised groups, or entries automatically created by computer shall be disregarded. Any incomplete, illegible or corrupted entries will not be accepted. All entries not complying with the submission instructions will be dismissed.
4. The competition commences on 25/09/2024 and will conclude at midnight on 13/09/2024.
5. All entries must be received before midnight on the closing date, subsequent entries will be automatically disqualified.
6. Competition limited to a single entry per individual. Each entrant cannot win more than one reward.
7. Submission of the entry to the promoter signifies your acceptance of these terms and conditions.
8. The promoter will not be held accountable for entries misplaced, damaged or delayed due to any form of network, computer hardware, or software malfunction. Sending an entry does not guarantee its receipt. Ultimately, all entries will be owned by the promoter.
The award constitutes a pair of tickets to a popular opera at the Wexford Festival Opera this autumn – Gaetano Donizetti’s Le convenienze ed inconvenienze teatrali – complemented by a pre-theatre meal at La Vista Café & Restaurant in the National Opera House, scheduled for Monday, 28th October. A single winner will be selected.
Each award offered is contingent upon any supplementary stipulations put forth by the distributor of the prize to the Organiser. This specific prize is valid solely on Monday, 28th October and cannot be refunded, nor can it be converted into monetary value.
Under no circumstances, including contractual, tortuous (inclusive of negligence) or other terms, shall the Organiser bear responsibility for any damages, losses, or consequential nuance inflicted by the acceptance of the terms and conditions or in relation to the awarded prize.
In case of unanticipated complications, the Organiser retains the right to provide an alternate prize of equal or higher worth.
Prize recipients will receive notice via email. Said recipients need to claim their prize within a 30-day timeframe post-notification. Any unclaimed prizes after this timeframe will be forfeited and potentially bestowed upon a reserve winner, in accordance with promotional regulations.
The Organiser’s rulings are unequivocal and legally binding in all relevant matters, devoid of room for correspondence.
The winning party may be required to partake in non-monetary promotional activities stemming from this event.
Prizes cannot be transferred or swapped for cash.
