In November, during the Mayo Full Moon Walking Weekend, guests are given the opportunity to hike under the moonlight, a chance to escape the city’s hustle and enjoy nature’s tranquility. The sensation of a moonlit walk, while it might be novel, will undoubtedly create an everlasting memory.
The Knockranny weekend package comprises a guided walk during the daytime on Saturday, followed by dinner at The Fern Grill that leads into an evening filled with candlelit tales and mystique. Weather permitting, a moonlit walk ensues. This walk, either off-road or through the woods, will feature the glow of a ‘Supermoon’ setting the scene – a term for a full moon that appears slightly larger and brighter than a typical full moon. Local Terra Firma guides will reveal the off-the-path secrets of the Wild Atlantic coast. Take in the breathtaking views over Clew Bay, Achill and Clare Islands, whilst pausing for a packed lunch at a perfectly located picnic spot.

1. Only residents of Ireland who are 18 years and above can participate in this promotional event. Employees of the promoter, their relatives, associates, or anyone professionally associated with the promotion are exempt.
2. To make a valid entry, participants must submit the correct answer in the above form, along with their name, email address, and phone number.
3. Entries from agents, third parties, organised groups, or automated computer applications will not be accepted. Incomplete, unreadable, or corrupted entries, or any entry not complying with the entry instructions, will not be accepted.
4. This promotion will be active from the 25th of September 2024 till midnight on the 13th of October 2024.
Submissions for this contest must be sent to the Organizer before the stroke of midnight on the Closing Date. Any entry received post-this date will be instantaneously removed from the contest.
Each individual is entitled to one submission only, ensuring everyone has an equal chance at winning. No participant can nab more than one award.
Agreeing to participate in this promotion, you acknowledge and agree to abide by the outlined terms and conditions.
The Organizer will not take any responsibility for submissions that are lost, damaged or delayed due to issues related to network, computer hardware or software. Proof of submission isn’t considered proof of receipt. All entries received will become the property of the Organizer.
The winner can look forward to a two-night luxurious stay at Knockranny House Hotel & Spa, with breakfast included each morning and an added dinner at The Fern Grill at a time of their choice. There will only be one winner.
Further conditions added by the provider may apply to all awards. The prize is subject to availability, cannot be availed on bank holidays, and is non-refundable and cannot be converted to cash.
The Organizer cannot be held accountable for any loss, damage, or resulting complications, irrelevant of being contractual, tortious (including negligence) or any other kind, due to acceptance of these terms and conditions or in relation to the award.
In case of unexpected circumstances, the Organizer retains the right to replace the award with an alternative of equal or more value.
Winners will be notified via email. They must claim their award within a 30-day timeframe from the notification date. If the award isn’t claimed in this period, it will be revoked, and the Organizer retains the right to offer it to an alternative winner as per the promotion rules.
The Organizer’s decision will be ultimate and absolute, and there will be no dialogue entertained around it.
The winner may be asked to take part in non-monetary publicity related to this promotion.

These rules are under the jurisdiction of Irish law and any legal disputes will be heard in the Courts of the Republic of Ireland.
