The celebration of National Heritage Week is set to commence from Saturday, 17th of August till Sunday, 25th of August. This Heritage Council programme is backed by the Local Authority Heritage Officer and Biodiversity Officer network, along with the Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage. Organisations, communities, and families all over Ireland have been actively preparing for events and projects for National Heritage Week 2024.

Everyone, from curious beginners to passionate enthusiasts, is encouraged to visit and uncover the richness of Ireland’s Heritage.

Terms & Conditions

1. The competition is open to all residents of Ireland aged 18 and above, exclusive of promoters’ staff, their relatives, agents, or anyone professionally linked with the competition.

2. An eligible application includes a correct response on the form above, supported by the participant’s name, email ID, and contact number.

3. The promoter will not consider entries from agencies, third-party groups, organised collectives or any entries generated automatically by a computer. All incomplete, illegible, or non-compliant entries will be disregarded.

4. The competition will be active from 31/07/2024 until midnight on 18/08/2024.

5. All competition entries must reach the promoter before the Closing Date. Any entries received post the Closing Date will be deemed invalid.

6. The competition only allows a single entry per individual. No person will be awarded more than one prize.

7. By participating in the competition, contestants agree to abide by the given terms and conditions.

8. The promoter holds no responsibility for entries that are lost, impaired or delayed as a result of any network, computer hardware or software failures. Proof of dispatch will not be considered as evidence of receipt. All entries will become the promoter’s property.

One lucky participant will receive a £400 voucher to spend at any of Irish Landmark’s thirty-three distinctive heritage sites. This prize will be given to a single winner.

The supplier of the award to the Promoter might impose further terms and conditions on all awarded prizes. Unfortunately, this prize cannot be returned or converted into money.

The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any loss, harm, or subsequent harm of any type, resulting from an individual’s acceptance of these terms and conditions or in relation to the prize, be it contractual, tortuous (including negligence) or other.

If unexpected issues arise, the Promoter has the right to replace the prize with another of equivalent or higher value.

Winners will be contacted via email and they must take ownership of the prize within a month of being notified. Should the prize remain unclaimed past this timeframe, it could be forfeited, as the Promoter has the right to allocate the unclaimed prize to an alternate winner according to the guidelines of the Promotion.

The decision made by the promoters is unchangeable and binding in every respect and no discussions will be conducted about it.

The winner may be asked to partake in unpaid promotional activities resulting from this promotion.

Prizes are strictly non-exchangeable, cannot be transferred, nor can they be swapped for money.

The rules and regulations will be guided and restricted by the laws of Ireland, and the Irish Republic’s Courts hold exclusive jurisdiction over them.

Finally, the Promoter reserves the ability to nullify, pause, rescind, or modify the Promotion if the need arises.
