The Dublin Horse Show, a captivating fusion of sports, fashion, and social events, will grace the historic grounds of the RDS once again next month, from Wednesday, August 14th through Sunday, August 18th.
The event kicks off on Wednesday and will span over five days, offering a myriad of activities. Thursday will entertain the eagerly awaited Best Dressed competition where the winner receives a cool €10,000. The prestigious Aga Khan trophy will be the highlight of Friday’s schedule.
This year, the Horse Show includes a dedicated Family Area settled on the Church grounds. An array of exciting activities and experiences there are designed to entertain kids of all ages. Young adventurers can brave the climbing wall, interact with their favourite animals at the Nore Valley Park Mobile Farm, or find exhilarating joy at the Mini Defender Driving Experience. For the creatively inclined, there’ll be face painters, balloon artists, and wandering circus acts. The pop-up Gaeltacht and Positive Strides exhibition are lined up to provide an inspirational and educational combo that should be just too fun to resist for any kid.
Announced this year is the option to register online for the Best Dressed, scheduled for Thursday, August 15th on the Band Lawn. Those who sign up in advance get a chance to win a Charlotte Tilbury hamper, loaded with luxury products worth €400.
As for the prizes of the Best Dressed Competition:
– The 1st prize winner receives a €10,000 cash reward courtesy of 1664 Blanc.
– The 2nd place competitor gets a luxury hotel stay: two nights each at the five-star Morrison Dublin and the Aleph Rome Hotel, both from the Curio Collection by Hilton, coupled with a €100 airline voucher.
– The person with the Most Creative Hat wins a €1,000 voucher for Pichet, redeemable across all eight Mercantile group venues within the city.

Regulations and Stipulations
1. This exclusive opportunity is on offer for all individuals residing in Ireland, aged 18 years or above, with the exclusion of those working for or directly connected with the organiser, as well as their families and agents.
2. For an entry to be valid, it must comprise a correct response to the above question, accompanied by the participant’s identity, email info and contact number.
3. Submissions from third parties, agents, organised groups or those that are computer-generated, will be disregarded. Entries that are incomplete, illegible or corrupted, or do not comply with the submission guidelines, will be deemed invalid.
4. The timeframe of this event will run commencing on the 17th of July 2024 and completing at midnight on the 5th of August 2024.
5. All entries must be obtained by the organiser on or prior to the deadline. Any submissions received post the final date will result in automatic disqualification.
6. The event restricts each individual to a single entry and to a maximum of one prize.
7. Upon submitting an entry to the organiser, you consent to the rules and stipulations outlined here.
8. The organiser will not be held accountable for entries that are lost, damaged or delayed due to network, computer hardware or software issues of any kind. Receipt of submissions cannot be guaranteed on the basis of sending proof alone. All entries are the proprietary rights of the organiser.
9. The reward includes a family pass that permits entry for two adults and three children under the age of 16 to the RDS Dublin Horse Show; there will be two winning entries in total.
10. Additional rules may apply for the prizes depending on the terms and conditions set by the prize provider to the organiser. These passes can only be redeemed for the Dublin Horse Show happening in 2024. Please note, the main arena seating tickets are not included in the pass and cannot be exchanged for cash or refunded.
11. In the event of any loss, harm or consequential damage arising from agreement to these terms and conditions or connection with the reward, the organiser cannot be held accountable.
12. In unforeseen circumstances, the organiser maintains the right to exchange the reward for an alternative of equal or greater monetary value.
The triumphants will receive notification via an email. It’s incumbent on the victors to lay claim to their rewards by the deadline of 13th August, 2024. In the scenario where the award isn’t claimed post this time limit, it’ll be forfeited. Subsequently, the Organiser has the prerogative to give the unclaimed award to an alternate victor chosen as per the Regulations of Promotion.
The determination of the organisers is unequivocal, authoritative on all accounts, and they won’t entertain any form of correspondence.
The fortunate victor might need to be part of publicity-related activities as a result of this promotion without any remuneration.
Awards are personal and not negotiable, and no monetary substitute is possible.
The laws of Ireland will have jurisdiction for any issue arising from these terms and conditions, with the Courts of the Republic of Ireland having singular jurisdiction.
Lastly, the Organiser holds the power to halt, postpone, dismiss or revise the Promotion should the need arise.
