The PTSB Ideal Home Show, the most awaited event of Ireland’s home improvement landscape is poised to make a comeback to RDS Simmonscourt from April 26th till April 28th. It will display the latest breakthroughs in home renovations with top Irish professionals and suppliers in attendance under one roof.

Fleetwood Paints, the largest home-grown paint company and sponsor of PTSB Ideal Home Show, extends a cordial invitation to all the DIY enthusiasts to participate in the Fleetwood Paints Challenge. Participants are given the opportunity to revive well-loved pieces at home by getting creative.

Fleetwood Paints anticipates contestants to reinvent everyday household items using their paints and accessories. The challenge will be judged by the Fleetwood Paints team, Aileen Hogan – founder of Shabby.ie and ambassador of Fleetwood paints, along with influencer Fionnuala Moran, an RTÉ 2FM presenter who supports sustainable living. The winners stand a chance to win rewarding prizes!

The top prize is a voucher worth €500 from Fleetwood Paints, redeemable at any Fleetwood stockists (excluding Woodies, Homebase, and B&Q stores) and the runner-up will receive a hamper filled with essentials from Fleetwood Paints for their upcoming DIY project.

Moreover, each participant will also be a part of a draw to win a lavish overnight stay, inclusive of breakfast and dinner, at Clayton Hotel Ballsbridge – the ideal indulgence following their tiring endeavours!

Terms & Conditions:
1. The competition is open only for Ireland residents who are at least 18 years old, excluding the employees of the Promoter, their family members, agents, or anyone affiliated professionally with the competition.
2. A valid submission is composed of a correct answer, filled in the above form, along with the contestant’s name, email address and contact number.
3. Applications from agents, organised groups, third parties or those automatically generated by a computer will not be considered valid. Similarly, entries that are incomplete, difficult to read, or corrupted will be disqualified, as will entries that don’t follow the entry protocol.

The contest commences on 27/03/2024 and culminates on the stroke of midnight on 07/04/2024. It’s crucial that all submissions arrive at the contest organiser’s desk before the end of that date; any received past this point shall be automatically discarded. Every individual is only permitted to participate once and there’s no chance of securing more than a single prize per participant.

The act of submitting your entry means you are consenting to stick to all the rules and regulations set by the organisers. If, for any reason, your entry goes missing, is destroyed or is delayed due to issues with any network or computer-related problem, the organiser will not accept responsibility. Documenting delivery doesn’t serve as confirmation of receipt. All entries become promoters’ property upon submission.

The award for the contest is a €250 voucher courtesy of Fleetwood Paints, and the chance to consult a designer. There is one sole victor. The victor will have to respect any additional terms and conditions set by the provider of the prizes. The voucher cannot be returned and there’s no cash substitute attainable.

The organiser will not be held accountable for any damage or loss of any sort resulting from the contestant’s compliance with the rules or in relation to the award. In exceptional situations, the organiser possesses the right to offer a substituted reward of the same or even more exceptional value.

The champion will be informed via email and will have a period of 30 days to acknowledge their prize. Failing to do so would result in the award being declared as lapsed and the organiser may choose to present it to an alternate winner as per the contest rules.

In all matters related to the contest, the promoter’s verdict is the final say and there will be no other dialogue welcomed. The winner might be asked to participate in promotional activities without recompense.

Awards cannot be switched to another individual nor can they be swapped for cash. The rules and regulations for the contest are overseen by Irish law and any legal disputes will exclusively be dealt with by the Courts of the Republic of Ireland. Lastly, the organiser keeps the right to terminate, delay, nullify or modify the contest if deemed necessary.
