Thrilled to announce the inauguration of its first ever Birdhill Coffee Festival, The Old Barracks Coffee Roastery invites you to a memorable experience in the picturesque location of Tipperary village, scheduled for Saturday, July 6th and Sunday, July 7th. This adults-only assembly provides a host of exciting coffee-themed activities unfolding throughout the weekend. Along with a remarkable list of guest speakers, the event also encompasses coffee roasting demonstrations, latte art competitions, instructive masterclasses, an array of food trucks, coffee tasting and brewing stations, to name a few.

Held under the main marquee, the team of experts from Sage Espresso, acknowledged for their coffee machine knowledge, will be present to showcase the optimal use of coffee machines, including advanced tips for enhancing your latte art. As a coffee enthusiast, this is an opportunity to witness the latest home appliances while indulging in a multitude of flavours as you explore coffee from exotic lands, settling upon a preference that delights your palate.

Nestled in the scenic Birdhill, Co Tipperary with a view of Lough Derg and Mount Moylusa. The Birdhill Coffee Festival will be hosted in the ancient yet beautifully preserved Old Barracks Roastery and its lush gardens, a stone’s throw from the M7. Tickets can be purchased either for a single day or the entire event and the price ranges from €20 per person for ‘Just A Taste’ coffee tasting experience, to an all-inclusive ‘Full Package’ amounting to €60 for both days. Terms & Conditions:

1. The competition is eligible for residents of Ireland aged 18 or above excluding employees of the Promoter, their immediate family, agents or anyone professionally associated with the event.
2. To participate, a form along with correct details such as the entrant’s name, email and contact number constitutes a valid entry.
3. Entries sent in by agents, organised groups, third parties or auto-generated by a computer will not be accepted. Any incomplete, illegible or corrupted entries will be disregarded. Also, entries not adhering to the instructions specified will be invalid.
4. The competition will commence on 28/06/2024 and end at midnight on 03/07/2024.
5. The ultimate date for submitting entries is midnight of the Closing Date. Any entries received post this time limit will be disqualified.

Bear in mind that these rules govern this promotional event:

1. Each person is only permitted to take part once. It’s not possible for a participant to win multiple prizes.
2. Submitting your entry implies acceptance of, and agreement to be bound by, these rules.
3. The organiser will not accept responsibility for submissions that get lost, damaged or delayed due to hardware or software failures, or network issues. Evidence of sending does not mean your entry was received. Entries become the property of the event organiser once submitted.
4. The prize includes a Sage Dual Boiler Espresso Coffee Machine and Grinder, worth €1,499, a year’s supply of The Old Barracks Coffee roasted on site in Birdhill, valued at €500, and a pair of weekend passes for the Birdhill Coffee Festival on July 6th and 7th, 2024, with a total value of €120. There will be a single winner.
5. Prize packages are subject to the supplier’s individual terms and conditions. Prize packages can’t be substituted or converted to cash and are non-refundable.
6. The organiser is not liable for any loss or damage (consequential or otherwise), arising from acceptance of these terms and conditions or in connection with the prize package.
7. If any unexpected situations occur, the organiser can substitute the original prize for an equally valuable one.
8. Winners will receive email notifications. Winners must claim their prize within 30 days of the notification. Should the prize remain unclaimed after that period, it will be considered as forfeited, allowing the organiser to offer it to a replacement winner according to the rules of the promotion.
9. The organiser’s decision is final. No further discussions will be entertained.
10. Winners may be asked to participate in promotional activities without remuneration.
11. Prizes are not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
12. The Irish law governs these terms and conditions, and the Courts of the Republic of Ireland shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
13. The event organiser may have to put the promotion on hold, suspend it, cancel it or amend it if necessary.
