First of all, compliments on your choices, the places I went were all fantastic.
At number one I would put the cheese and pepper fettuccine from Sora Margherita! While we might be singing our own praises a little, we wanted your tips on weekends in Rome: where to go, good restaurants and why you liked the place.
We’ve put our own Saturday night program together: check it out after the jump.
Aperitif: at the Société Lutèce for some good drinks, beer and a little music.
Dinner: Baffetto is a must in Rome, to get a real pizza: thin and well topped, with some classic, “quaint” Italian service.
After dinner: go to The Library for a relaxing and chic night out, only a step away from the pizzeria, where you can enjoy a cocktail or glass of Italian wine to finish the evening.
For Sunday you could think about changing areas, maybe going to Trastevere for a night out, and maybe a visit to Friends in Piazza Trilussa.
