It has become a regular trend for prosperous Chinese citizens to compete fiercely for residences in South Dublin, as property agents confirm. But what’s the reason behind this trend?
This phenomenon can be attributed to the now-obsolete “Golden Visa” scheme, the downward spiral of China’s domestic property market, and the ambition of Chinese parents ascending the social ladder to provide their offsprings with a Western-style education.
