Weekly Verse Highlight: Young Trees

Rewritten Text:

The end message of Peter is clear; that we stand firmly on soil as long as it welcomes us. Certainty is but a myth. It is unpredictable whether we will merely mature slightly over time, or bloom exponentially like a tree full of rustling foliage. With time, we gain wisdom on how to handle annual losses, and this experience leads to our fortified resilience. Our ultimate triumph shall be the perseverance that bore hope despite the relentless pain and fear. Kevin Graham’s initial compilation, ‘The Watchtower’, made its debut under the banner of Gallery Press in 2023. This collection was among the potential awardees for the John Pollard Foundation International Poetry Prize and was the champion of the Southword Inaugural Poetry Collection Award.
