Warmer weather is set to make a comeback from the middle of the week

The commencement of Tuesday was marked by an unseasonably cool but gentle weather – which is anticipated to take a favourable turn, based on reports from Met Éireann. The foreseen weather progression throughout the week gradually leads to a climatic peak of 23 degrees on Thursday, accompanied by an increasing quantity of sun. A minor setback may occur on Friday, but an agreeable summer atmosphere is expected for the weekend.

Although Tuesday began on a dry note for a lot of places, a robust cloud cover along with slight downpours largely influenced northern regions, particularly Ulster. However, longer intervals of sunlight are believed to stretch out across the nation, marking later parts of the day with warm and sunny weather at many venues. The day’s temperaures are predicted to escalate to a pleasant 19 degrees during sunny interludes.

With no higher than 9 degrees and no less than 4 degrees expected for minimum temperatures, a brisk and clear night is also predicted on Tuesday, carried along by gentle northwesterly breezes.

A surge of favourable weather really sets in on Wednesday, as per Met Éireann’s predictions. Barring the Atlantic coastline that can anticipate some haze, most areas should enjoy the best of the sunshine with temperatures peaking at 21 degrees.

The forthcoming Thursday is likely to gift us with a beautiful summer day featuring warm and hazy sun coupled with gentle breezes from the southwest. The expected maximum temperatures should scale up to 22 degrees, the highest readings are anticipated inland, away from the Atlantic shores.

There’s a forecast of some rainfall arriving from the Atlantic on Friday night, but the better part of the weekend should continue to be dry, showcasing sunny intervals. It could be hazier near the Atlantic; otherwise, the temperature highs should range from 16 to 23 degrees, with Midlands, southern and eastern regions experiencing particularly warm weather on Sunday.
