Volkswagen presents three custom versions Beetle at the 2012 SEMA

Volkswagen will be at the 2012 SEMA Show in Las Vegas (30th October – 2nd November) to present three custom versions of the Beetle.
The APR-VWvortex Beetle Turbo has a true sports spirit hidden beneath its Beetle appearance: the engine produces a whopping 500 hp and delivers power to the four-wheel drive.

The car uses an APR Stage IV GTX turbocharger, a revised fuel system, a high-performance intercooler and reprogrammed ECU, in addition to technical modifications aimed at increasing engine and transmission resistance.
The trim also includes sports exhaust system, adjustable suspension, personalized stylistic features and 19-inch alloy wheels.
The body is painted in Azure Blue Metallic colour.
The Beach Battle Beetle has been designed with surfers and beach life lovers in mind and is characterised by bright colourful body-paints, a roof rack and even a removable micro-shower, while the engine uses a turbo kit and delivers 400 hp.
The Galpin Auto Sports Beetle wink at the hot rods and consequently uses a few vintage elements, including Onyx Black / Candy Apple Red painting, 20-inch alloy wheels, and super-low chassis, peculiar element also shared with the Rotiform Beetle.

The Rotiform is coloured in matte grey paint and has concave alloy wheels and Air Lift system suspension.
FMS Automotive will also be at the Show held in Nevada, and at their stand will be displayed a totally restored 1956 Beetle and a current model featuring two-tone paint, H & R suspension, LED headlights and a custom made exhaust system.
