Visit Rome’s museums: English paper rates Rome a cheap place to visit

According to a report from England’s Sunday Telegraph, Rome is one of the most low cost cities in the world, at least for museum and monument visits.
Basing its study on the cost of a visit for a family of four wanting to visit the main tourist attractions, Rome costs less than half of London, despite free entry into the British Museum and the National Gallery.

That London is a complete “rip-off” (as per the title of the article), is no surprise to me.
You have to pay even to go into the church of St.
Paul’s (visiting the Vatican is free, unless you want to go into the museum).
While everywhere it’s getting more expensive to travel, compared to London’s 500 euros to visit the main attractions, Rome cost only 272 euros.
