If you thought that Jakub Kornfeil was good at saving his bike (he then fell on the wet astroturf) during the last week’s Moto3 race at Jerez, then you have to take a look at what Avintia CRT rider Ivan Silva did this afternoon during qualifying at Estoril.
The Spaniard almost lost the rear of his Kawasaki/Immotec and the bike started to highside but he managed to keep upright getting a couple of big tank slappers that almost threw him off and then it wheelied as he tried to push it down with his weight until he regained control.
