While several of his European MotoGP collegues were having some off season fun in motocross charity races and taking part in rallies, reigning World Champion Casey Stoner got his wish granted to drive a V8 Supercar after attending the Sydney 500 two weeks ago as a guest of Team Vodafone.
The Australian who has always said that when he retires he’d like to drive a Supercar, got behind the wheel of Vodafone’s Holden Commodore at the Driving Centre at Norwell, Queensland under the guidance of five-time Bathurst winner Craig Lowndes and his recently crowned V8 Supercar champion team-mate Jamie Whincup completing 90 laps and impressing everyone present with his natural talent.
