There ‘s something almost post-apocalyptic about Versace men’s collection for autumn 2010; forward-looking menswear which somehow reminds one of outfits seen in such famous movies as Escape From New York and Matrix.
Tight-fitting leather trousers, sleeveless t-shirts, black boots and dark sunglasses which look like a wall or rather a barrier between you and the world.
This time Donatella has designed a collection which, despite its strange (and intrinsic) beauty, seems to be miles away from Gianni Versace’s brightly coloured kicks.
