Vatican Museums: night openings scheduled for September and October 2009

A moonlit Sistine Chapel without thousands of people crowded within an inch of you.
Or the sunset on St.
Peter’s from the Cortile delle Corazze.
The rooms of Raffaello with windows open to the night sky.
After the success of the first experience, last July 24, the Vatican Museums have just announced that new extraordinary night openings have been scheduled for September and October 2009.

The remarkable night openings of the most important museum in Rome will be every Friday in September (4, 11, 18, 25) and every Friday in October (2, 9, 16, 23, 30), from 7 to 11 pm (no entrance after 9:30 pm).
Online reservations are required and can be made on the official website of the Museums (www.
vatican.
va).
