“Variations of perspective on Grey hair”

Responding to your recent piece “The Emergence of the ‘Silver Sisters'” by Joanne Hunt (Magazine, 1st June), with the ongoing debate unfurling in this paper’s letters section (June 5th and 7th) about whether or not mature women should colour their hair, I’m eager to see more mature women like myself showcased in the style sections. Drawing attention to hair, dyed or natural, could be an optional part of this feature.

Yours faithfully,
CIANA CAMPBELL,
Ennis,
Co Clare.

Nicola Coughlan’s recent words caught my attention – her acute consciousness of events in Gaza and her ability to take negative Instagram comments in stride.

I miss my once abundant, dark hair that has since greyed. These days, I’d be content with having any hair, regardless of its colour.

Respectfully,
LIAM GAVIN,
Rush,
Co Dublin.

Upon responding to a visitor at our doorstep who sported a head of grey hair, my son informed me of the gentleman’s appearance. My reply was “inform him that I already possess a grey head of hair”.

Yours sincerely,
TOM GILSENAN,
Dublin 9.
