In yesterday’s post we wrote that Valentino Rossi and Andrea Dovizioso would be at the Motorland Aragon circuit to check and try out the new track, but what we found out that the two riders were actually at the track yesterday.
Rossi used a Yamaha R1 and described the new MotoGP venue as “fast” with “complicated but fun turns”, turning his attention especially on turn 16 of the Spanish track.
Andrea Dovizioso took his turn earlier riding a Honda CBR1000RR and said he was impressed by the number of overtaking opportunities.
While on Tuesday morning saw Interwetten Honda’s Hiroshi Aoyama ride the track, also present was CEV Moto2 rider Kev Coghlan who has a wild card entry in the Aragon Moto2 GP race next week.
Coghlan has already been on the track and won the Spanish National Championship Moto2 race in July at Aragon.
