Valencia Tests for WSBK and Moto2

The Ricardo Tormo Circuit at Valencia will see a number of different racing teams out in full force for two days of testing, tomorrow and Thursday.
Many top WSB teams will be out on the track as well as host of Moto2 teams.
It will be the first time that will that many of the new Moto2 bikes will be on track together, but without the official Honda Moto2 engines, that be supplied early next year.

WSBK teams will include Aprilia with Max Biaggi and Leon Camier and test rider Alex Hofmann who will try to make up the time that they lost at the Misano circuit due to bad weather.
Hannspree Ten Kate Honda will have both their WSB and WSS teams out in force with Jonathan Rea, Max Neukirchner, Kenan Sofuoglu and newly signed rider, Michele Pirro.
Leon Haslam and Sylvain Guintoli, from Alstare Suzuki will also be testing at Valencia after their three day test at Phillip Island in November.
James Toseland and Cal Crutchlow from Sterilgarda Yamaha will also be on track with the R1’s.

Shane Byrne and Carlos Checa will miss this two day test because the new 2010 specification Althea Ducati’s isn’t yet ready for testing.
Moto 2 teams that were confirmed for Valencia testing are Kalex Pons with Sergio Gadea and Axel Pons, as well as Roberto Rolfo with the Italtrans team.
Tech 3 team, got their first shakedown test at the Ledenon circuit with French rider Florian Marino, will see official rider Raffaele de Rosa doing the testing, while Yuki Takahashi will not be present as the Tech 3 team has only one chassis currently available.
Team WTR San Marino with Alessandro Brannetti riding the new AT02 bike and testing it for the first time.
The ex Aprilia Moto2 team managers will be meeting up to discuss the situation after Aprilia’s last minute refusal to supply their rolling chassis to the new teams.
Jorge Martinez will have his two riders, Mike di Meglio and Julian Simon test for the second time the Moto2 BQR, while Speed Up Luca Boscoscuro is still unsure of what to do, but reportedly has already contacted FTR about their Moto2 bike.
