Valencia Floods, Galway Rail Feasibility

Over 95 fatalities reported from flash flooding in Valencia
Eastern Spain’s most destructive flash floods in 40 years have claimed the lives of at least 95 people, led to numerous disappearances, and instigated widespread disarray. The Valencia region on the Mediterranean coast, alongside portions of neighbouring Andalucía and Castilla-La Mancha, experienced heavy downpours starting Tuesday night into Wednesday. Rivers burst their banks resulting in inundated roads, wrecked bridges, and vehicles, occasionally with occupants inside, being swept away by the water flows.
