Utilising public conveyance towards Dublin Harbour

Dear Editor,

Throughout the past month, my friends and I have experienced consistent unreliability with the solitary private bus service that operates to the Stena Line Terminal at Dublin Port. On three separate instances, we found ourselves stranded at the bus stop, as the bus failed to appear without any apparent reason. Additionally, the signage at Custom House Quay, intended to alert passengers to the bus service, was remarkably lacking clarity.

Equally frustrating is that Dublin Bus operates a number 53 service which happens to pass the Stena Line terminal. However, it is not a permitted stop for Stena Line passengers, rendering the service useless to us.

Due to these inconveniences, we were forced to hire a taxi on three occasions. In hindsight, it might’ve been more practical to consider transporting my three suitcases on a bicycle. The current state of transport to Dublin Port is frankly a disgrace to our nation and requires immediate rectification.
Yours sincerely,

Richard Cruise,

Co Dublin.

Meanwhile, Beyoncé’s latest release, Cowboy Carter, is like a sudden downpour after a storm when it gains momentum; an exhilarating experience that we will review track by track.
