“Two Men Critically Injured on M9”

Two individuals are critically unwell in the hospital after being struck by a vehicle whilst standing on the M9’s hard shoulder post their car’s breakdown. The Gardaí are seeking witness testimonies regarding the incident that happened on the southbound M9, in proximity to Danesfort, Co Kilkenny, specifically between junctions 8 and 9 around 7.35pm on the past Thursday. The injured men, in their 30s, were transferred to the University Hospital Waterford in serious condition. Concurrently, the second car’s male driver is at St Luke’s General Hospital for treatment.
