In Dublin, law enforcement officials have captured a haul of cannabis worth over €2 million. Two gentlemen, both in their third decade of life, were apprehended during the coordinated agency effort. The Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau, alongside the Revenue Customs Service, made the discovery on Friday. Revealed in a surveillance-based operation, a staggering 105kg of cannabis was located. The projected value of this seized narcotics is €2.1 million. The suspects were detained under the charge of drug trafficking offences, whilst held in a Garda precinct located in the western regions of Dublin. The Revenue proclaimed in their statement that this seizure is a continued effort to target organised crime syndicates and combat the unlawful importation, trading and provision of illegal drugs.
