Dear Editor,

Imagine my astonishment when I was arranging a journey to Waterford for Sunday, the 31st of March, and spotted a substantial delay, stretching five hours, in the railway schedule. The opening train is at 9:10 am and the succeeding one does not come until 2:10 pm. Surely, this situation can and must improve.
