This situation has helped in particular the Luxury brands, who have enhanced their online platforms, in such a way as to guarantee the presence of all their abitual products to their customers. Below there is a list of Luxury brands who have managed to maintain their position amongst the top 10 brands in the world in 2020. 10.Prada At the end of the list we find the Italian luxury fashion house Prada. Founded in 1913 by top designer Mario Prada, the company is specialized in leather and travel bags and accessories. In 2020, it recorded a brand value of $3, 059 million. 9.Burberry Burberry is a British luxury fashion house that produces clothes, accessories and cosmetics. Characteristic is its tarta pattern which is often present in its products and which has become the most recognized and imitated symbol in the world. Founded in 1856 by Thomas Burberry, it recorded a brand value of $3, 847 million in 2020. 8.Yves Saint Laurent In eighth place on the list we find the French luxury fashion brand Yves Saint Laurent. Founded in 1961 by the homonymous top designer in Paris, the company is known for its haute couture, accessories, leather and much more. In 2020, its brand value amounted to $3, 972 million. 7.Dior The French top designer Christian Dior founded this fashion house in 1946. The company is well known around the world for its bags, accessories, high end couture and so many other things. It earns the seventh place of the list of luxury brands with a brand value of $5, 117 million. 6.Cartier Founded in 1847 by Louis Cartier, the French luxury goods conglomerate recorded a brand value of $5, 214 million. In addition to its jewelery creations, the company is known around the world for its timepieces very appreciated for their design and technology. 5.Rolex Ranked as the 71st most valuable brand in the world by Forbes in 2018, the watchmaker has recorded a brand value of $7, 433 million in 2020. Rolex is a Swiss company important in the production of fine wristwatches, founded in 1905 by Hans Wilsdorf. Moreover, it is one of the largest company operating in the haute horlogerie sector. 4.Gucci Founded in 1921 by the top designer Guccio Gucci, the company recorded a brand value of $27, 238 million. Gucci is an Italian fashion house active in the high fashion and luxury items sectors. 3.Hermés In the third place we find the French company Hermès. With a history that has its roots in 1837, it is specialized in accessories, leather goods, jewelry, luxury suitcases, etc. The womes’s fashion house has a brand value of $33, 008 million as of 2020. 2.Chanel The brand of the Parisian fashion house foundend in 1910 by Coco Chanel wins second place in the list of luxury brands. The company, specialized in couture, accessories and perfumes, has become one of the most appreciated in the field of fashion and its current brand values $36, 120 million. 1.Louis Vuitton Founded by Louis Vuitton in 1854, the French fashion house ranks first in the list of luxury brands. The brand is very known for its specialization in the production of iconic bags, fashion accessories, leather goods and also pocket watches. Louis Vuitton maintains its dominant position thaks to a value of $51, 777 million.
