“Tipperary Crash: Woman Dead, Four Injured”

A tragic car mishap has claimed the life of a woman in her thirties in County Tipperary on a recent Friday evening. In addition, a man in his forties and three young individuals in their late teens were injured in the two-vehicle accident. The unfortunate event took place around 10 pm on the N24 at Kilsheela.

The woman passed away at the scene, while the male driver of the car she was in, who is in his forties, was rushed to Waterford University Hospital. His injuries, as reported by the gardaí, were not life-threatening. The other vehicle involved in the accident was driven by a male teenager who, along with his two passengers – a male and a female, also in their late teens – was hospitalised at Waterford University Hospital with non-critical injuries. As per the Garda Press Office, there have been no more reports of injuries.

In the aftermath of the crash, traffic diversions have been put in place as the road remains shut. Gardaí have preserved the scene for a detailed probe by the Garda Forensic Collision Investigators, stated an update on Saturday morning.

The Gardaí is urging any witnesses of the accident to come forward. They have also issued an appeal to anyone who was in the vicinity of the N24 at Kilsheelan, County Tipperary, between 9:30 pm and 10:10 pm that Friday.
