Three Charged Over Carrigtwohill Drug Seizure

Three individuals, a woman in her 40s and two males aged around 50 and late teens respectively, have been taken into custody and charged over their alleged involvement in a drug haul in Carrigtwohill, County Cork last Friday. It is anticipated that they will stand before Cork City District Court at 10.30am.

The Cork County Divisional Drugs Unit unearthed substances valued approximately at €260,000 upon searching a residential property in eastern Carrigtwohill. Detectives confiscated cannabis, which was estimated to have a street price of €140,000 and suspected cocaine valued at about €120,000.

Following this significant seizure, three family members were apprehended; a man of 53, a woman aged 42, and a young man aged 19.
