This Week’s Featured Poem: Verses on a Pane

Without question, both aspects will suffer, the visible and the hidden projections are mirrored darkly. Occasionally, mirrors reveal the truth: our world is likened to a silver theatre, and eventually, the final act will happen. The array of vibrant lights that illuminated an aging face with its growing wrinkles, will eventually lose their spark as their glare fades away. Time, once a benefactor, becomes a thief instead, shadowing the youth that hides behind the mask of maturity. The youth squints at the wisdom presented to him: what you see is what you understand, and what you understand is what you see. Padraig Rooney has brought out three collections of poetry, along with a unique bilingual selection called Angelandet / Landing Craft which was launched from Wolfbach (Zurich) in 2017.
