Dear Editor,
As a fellow individual with a blended ancestry who moved out of the other illustrious northwestern English town, Liverpool, years ago, I felt a deep connection with Sarah Moss’s piece “I don’t have a straight answer to ‘Where are you from?’” (Weekend, September 21st).
Her fondness for Manchester is profoundly reflected in her portrayal of the city’s revolutionary legacy.
A truly superb piece of prose.
Kind regards,
