The new Ferrari California

As it was largely anticipated by our friends over at Autoblog Ferrari has just released the first photos of its new California.
Three pictures that will make your mouth water.
As you can see the design is clearly influenced by its famous predecessors, though this time the car is powered by a new V8 engine, mounted in the mid-front position, a first for the prancing horse.

But perhaps the big news is this folding hard top which will come as a standard on all version.
The unit features direct injection and produces 454 bhp; connected to an all-new 7-speed dual clutch gearbox it will also allow the California to sprint from 0 to 60mph in less than 4.
0-seconds.
The Ferrari California is also equipped with the exclusive F1-Trac traction control system and Brembo brakes which will guarantee superbly efficient braking.
In short, we are talking about a car that will satisfy even the most demanding of drivers, featuring a set of characteristics that will boost the car’s performance and enhance the driving pleasure.
They will also improve ride comfort and reduce fuel consumption and emissions.
