The new 2012 MV Agusta Brutale R 1090

Here are the first pictures of the new MV Agusta Brutale R1090 2012.
The new naked bike from the Italian manufacturer will be powered by a 1078cc in-line four cylinder engine with radial valves, which is claimed to deliver a maximum power of 144hp (106kW) at 10,300 rpm.
In comparison to Brutale 1090’s engine – from which it derives – it boasts optimized distribution and 8 different mappings for the electronic traction control which are specifically designed for this model.

The chassis’ design – adopted by the 920 – uses a steel trellis frame mixed with aluminum plates.
Other notable features are the upside-down Marzocchi 50mm fork, Sachs’s monoshock and the 190/55 – ZR17 rear tyre.
The 2012 MV Agusta Brutale R 1090 will have 3 different color schemes: white, red and black.
