The initial image of Kate Middleton has been made public following her surgical procedure on the stomach

The first official image of Kate Middleton, Wales’ Princess, post her abdominal operation, was unveiled in honour of Mother’s Day. The picture depicts the princess seated on a chair, encircled by her three offspring, and was shared via the social media accounts of the Prince and Princess of Wales on Sunday morning. The post contained a note expressing gratitude for the continuous support and well-intentioned wishes received during the past two months. The message ended with a Mother’s Day greeting.

The photograph was captured at Windsor earlier in the week, as confirmed by Kensington Palace.

Since the 29th of January, the princess has been recuperating post her abdominal procedure and was scheduled to recover until at least Easter. She has made the Adelaide Cottage, located near Windsor Castle and part of the family estate, her recovery base. During this period, Prince William has temporarily ceased some official endeavours to assist in her care while also tending to their children.

She underwent a scheduled operation on the 16th of January at the London Clinic, a private hospital which once provided treatment for King Charles’ enlarged prostate.

Her extended absence from public visibility has spurred several speculative theories online about her location and health status. Just last week, it was reported that she is expected to show up at a trooping the colour event in June. However, this claim was subsequently deleted from the British army’s website after it was discovered to have been posted without the permission from Kensington Palace.

The princess has been seen near her home at Windsor. There’s a photo circulating on the internet showing the princess, seen with sunglasses on, seated in the front seat of a car driven by her mother, Carole Middleton.

Details of the Princess’ health status remain undisclosed, but previous communications from Kensington Palace confirmed that her condition is not cancer-related, and that she has requested her medical information to be kept confidential.
