The excitement surrounding the upcoming vote is mounting

“Dear Editor, Despite Prime Minister Simon Harris repeatedly affirming that there won’t be a premature general election – citing the recent local and European election results as proof that voters are not seeking a change – questions remain. Is it not accurate that certain politicians, particularly those whose party colleagues performed poorly, constantly remind us of the distinct contrast between local and general elections? With all due respect, there seems to be some contradiction in their stances.

Yours sincerely,
Peter Declan O’Halloran,
Belturbet,
Co Cavan.”
