A well-done list of the best 2020 TV shows that kept us company during our long quarantines.
Despite the pandemic, people still managed to entertain themselves by watching TV shows. TV shows helped people to remain sane going through a lockdown and beyond. So, we made a list of the best TV shows that aired in 2020.
As the first lockdown, we compulsively watched Tiger King, Unorthodox and Normal People. They helped us to distract endless doom-scrolling. Then we became obsessed with an early Noughties pop culture scandal sometime around Easter. Courtesy of ITV’s brilliant miniseries Quiz.
Then in the second lockdown, we spend out lockdown time with watching The Crown’s fourth series, which made cool again some clothes. Or we could just have investigated beginners chess lessons while bingewatching The Queen’s Gambit. So, if you want to rewatch the TV Shows later, here are the lists. For those who want to watch new TV Shows, they can be your starter.
You can start to watch I May Destroy You, Mrs America, Small Axe, This Country, Dracula, Industry, Us, and Normal People (the TV series based on Sally Rooney novel) on BBC iPlayer.
In the other side, Netflix was the production company that gained a lot of popularity along with pandemic. Netflix showed its teeth this year. The Crown, Selling Sunset, The Queen’s Gambit, Cheer, Indian Matchmaking, My Octopus Teacher, Tiger King, Love is Blind and Unorthodox, which received widespread critical acclaim.
ITV Hub also made an interesting programme to watch during the pandemic, Quiz. I Hate Suzie and The Undoing also become part of the best TV shows of 2020. You can watch it on Sky/NOW TV.
