Dear Sir/Madam,
In regards to the recent news item “Helen McEntee refuses invitation to GRA conference in absence of Drew Harris” (News, 18th of April), could one not compare the ongoing predicament between the Garda Representative Association, the Garda Commissioner and the Minister of Justice to the riddle involving a fox, goose, sack of grain and a river bank? The real conundrum here is how to unite the Minister with the GRA and the Garda Commissioner on issues of law enforcement, without causing a disturbance.
