Teenager Dies in Cavan Recycling Accident

A 17-year-old boy tragically lost his life due to a mishap at a recycling facility in Co Cavan, Ireland, this past Thursday. The young local lad was involved in a fatal incident at the Wilton Recycling site located in Crosserlough. Expressing profound grief, the company offered its heartfelt sympathies to his family, mates and co-workers. In honour of his memory, the firm decided to halt its operations until an unspecified time, as stated by a female representative.

Emergency services and the local law enforcement were informed about the disastrous event shortly after half-past four in the afternoon. According to police officials, the boy was declared dead at the accident site.

The youth’s body has since been transferred to a morgue in Cavan, where a postmortem examination will take place when due. The case has caught the attention of the Health and Safety Authority (HSA) as well. Preparations are underway for presenting a case file to the Coroner’s Court.
