Survey conducted by the National Transport Authority

Dear Editor,

A survey by the National Transport Authority (NTA) in urban regions reveals a strong preference for increased government funding for pedestrian and cyclist facilities (News, March 5th).

In contrast, I wonder if the NTA’s findings would hew the same line if they took into account the views of those who work and utilize the city’s services but due to financial constraints, reside outside of the urban area.

Kind regards,
Rory McCloskey,
