Suomy helmets 70’s jet helmet

The new Suomy jet helmet has all the technology you’d expect but is called 70’s – reflecting its inspiration from the 1970’s – a pretty good decade for cool motorcycle design, we’d say.
The Suomy 70’s helmet is light, versatile with a minimal and elegant style and a disappearing sun visor.

It’s been designed for city use and scooter riders, but cruiser and even naked bike riders might find it suits their look.
The helmet sheel is made from fibreglass-based composite materials with different thicknesses and layers.
It’s made to be light but highly durable as well.
The Suomy 70’s helmets are all made in Italy and have hand painted finishes.
The internal polystyrene layer is made in one size but comes in different thicknesses for a gradual absorption of any impact.
The 70’s jet helmet has a sun visor which can disappear upwards into the interior of the helmet thanks to a simple mechanism on the visor itself.
The elasticised internal lining is made from microfibre and polyester and has anti-bacterial and breathable properties.
The cheek pads and head piece can be removed and washed, and can be replaced by ones of different sizes for a better fit.

The Suomy 70’s jet helmet costs 189 euros in single tone, or 219 euros with graphics.
