“Sunday Hurling: Leinster and Munster Finals”

The Leinster Hurling Championship sees Antrim face Carlow, Galway against Dublin, and Kilkenny battling Wexford, with all matches kicking off at 2pm. Meanwhile, the Munster Hurling Championship features confrontations between Limerick and Waterford and Tipperary versus Clare, both commencing at 4pm. These are part of the last cycle of games in both the Leinster and Munster Hurling Championships, promising an exciting day for all small-ball sports followers.

Heading into the Leinster Championship, Kilkenny invites Wexford to the UPMC Nowlan Park, whilst Galway entertains Dublin at Pearse Stadium, and Antrim plays host to Carlow at Corrigan Park. Each bout is set to begin at 2pm.

On the Munster front, Limerick is to accommodate Waterford at TUS Gaelic Grounds and Tipperary invites Clare to do battle at FBD Semple Stadium, with both matches getting underway at 4pm.

A draw or triumph against Waterford can secure Limerick a spot in a sixth consecutive Munster championship final. For Waterford, all outcomes are still in play- they could reach the provincial final, take a third position or face elimination from the championship.

After last week’s unfortunate defeat to Cork, Tipperary’s hopes of championship glory in 2024 ended. Clare, however, has a clear path ahead – a draw or victory against Tipperary would secure a place in the Munster final.

In Leinster, Kilkenny aims for their fifth consecutive title and a draw or victory over Wexford would see them in another provincial final. Dublin could face elimination if they suffer a defeat against Galway, whilst their victory would lead to a spot in the Leinster final. Carlow has to overcome Antrim to stave off reversion to the Joe McDonagh Cup.

Stay tuned here to follow every action as it happens and watch the teams’ truths unravel.

In the initial minute, Dublin takes the lead with an opening goal by Sean Curry, proving a shock for Galway.
