Storm Ashley has thrown several GAA fixtures into disarray this weekend, leading to numerous games being rescheduled due to severe weather conditions sweeping across the nation. An Orange wind warning, applicable until 8pm, has been issued for Kerry, Clare, Galway, Mayo, Sligo, Leitrim, and Donegal.
The following games have been postponed, with new schedules following the delay:
The Clare SHC final between Sixmilebridge and Feakle at Cusack Park has been moved to Monday, October 28th.
Galway SHC semi-finals featuring St Thomas’ versus Cappataggle and Loughrea against Clarinbridge have been delayed, with a new date on Saturday, October 26th in Athenry. The final will now take place on Sunday, November 10th.
The Fermanagh SFC final contest of Enniskillen Gaels taking on Erne Gaels Belleek at Brewster Park is now due on Sunday, October 27th.
The Mayo SFC final matchup between Ballina Stephenites and Knockmore at McHale Park has been shifted to Saturday, October 26th.
The date for the Tyrone SFC final between Errigal Ciaran and Trillick St Macartan’s at Healy Park is yet to be decided.
Longford SFC final between Abbeylara and Colmcille at Glennon Brothers Pearse Park is awaiting a new date.
The Wicklow SFC final game between Baltinglass and Tinahely at Aughrim is scheduled for Saturday, October 26th.
Lastly, the Sligo SHC final where Easkey faces off against Naomh Eoin at Markievicz Park is also still to be confirmed.
