After the allowance by the British government to go on vacay, brits were starting dreaming their holidays. But now dreams seems to be hindered once again. Both Spain and Greece are tightening restrictions before British travelers arrive.
Maybe Brits won’t be able to go to Spain or Greece to vacay
Spain and Greece are part of the amber list destinations for UK; which now involves not doing any more a quarantine period. In the Mediterranean part of Valencia’s region they reintroduced the curfew. This includes the city of Valencia and the popular coastal of Benicassim.
Covid rate cases in Spain have tripled in the past two weeks. The same is true for Greece, the virus is coming forward among those not yet vaccinated. Bars, cinemas and theaters put a ban for who is unvaccinated.
On the contrary of this bad news, Italy, Germany, and Poland seem to be next to be added on the green list. The travel list will be updated on Tuesday. In addition, Robert Boyle, the director of strategy at British Airways, said that 12 countries could be put in low risk tier this week. Including: Austria, Bulgaria, Germany, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Slovakia and Switzerland.
Therefore if you’re planning your summer in Spain or Greece you may revise your vacay.
