“Snoop Dogg Wears Equestrian Kit to Olympics”

At Saturday’s team dressage grand prix special in the Paris Olympics, Snoop Dogg was prepared and showed up in complete equestrian attire. The 52-year-old rapper sported his dressage tailcoat, breeches, and safety helmet as he toured the Chateau de Versailles venue, accompanied by Martha Stewart, an American entrepreneur and culinary author.

Snoop Dogg, whose real name is Calvin Broadus Jr, had the opportunity to witness an impressive performance by British equestrian Becky Moody, who posted a leading score in the first round on her horse, Jagerbomb.

In a chat with Martha Stewart on NBC’s Today show, Snoop mentioned he would bring apples and carrots for the horses. Stewart revealed that Snoop, while somewhat apprehensive around horses, had plans to participate in the following day’s dressage event. She was tasked with ensuring he stayed away from feeding the horses.

The pair, who have previously co-hosted the show “Martha & Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party,” where they invite celebrities to engage in cooking contests, were an unexpected but entertaining sight at the grand prix.

During his assignment as a commentator for NBC during the Olympics, Snoop stated his fascination with the “dancing horses,” expressing his wish to provide them with treats before their event.

The rapper carried the Olympic flame for a while and commented that he was proud to have represented peace during that moment. Snoop was also spotted around other Olympic events, such as judo, beach volleyball, and gymnastics, where he was noticed wearing a T-shirt featuring the face of Simone Biles. His unique commentary style was evident during the Olympics in Tokyo, where he famously referred to a participant in the dressage event as a horse performing a “crip-walk”.
